¡Estoy listo para empezar!

Day 1 of school = success. On Sunday, we were notified that we were given the wrong address for the school; however despite the set back, everyone ended up finding their way in the city, whether by bus, taxi, or my personal favorite the subway. At Amauta Spanish school, our group was divided up into sub-groups, depending on the courses being taken and each person's proficiency level of Spanish. Classes generally run from 9am - 1pm. As you can see from the picture of my brother, we were all very excited to be having summer school!

One of the tasks besides classes here in Argentina is to visit various sites and write a reflection journal on the history/culture and your experience at this place. For this assignment, we have separate groups that we chose prior to traveling here. Today, we were given a free day to plan where we would be going and how we would get there. Our first destination my group chose was to head to
,“El Paseo el Rosedal” and “El Jardín Botánico”.

El Jardín Botánico |
After sightseeing, my group decided to explore the city and take in as much of the Latin American/European culture as we could. What better way to do that than having a good time at the park!....until tomorrow!
El Paseo el Rosedal looks so lovely. I love all the pictures in your blog. Thanks for writing.
